Dear Scholarship Applicant:
The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Theta Chi Omega Chapter are pleased to offer scholarships to high school students residing and attending a school within Kent County public school districts who demonstrate academic excellence in our area. The scholarship offer is also extended to undergraduate college students with a Michigan residence, but attending any college or university. We invite eligible students to complete the following application and submit it using the online form on our website no later than
Friday, May 01, 2026, by 11:59 pm.                               

Levels of Awards:
  • Graduating High School Seniors
  • College Students

Eligibility
  • Evidence of contribution to the school/community
  • Graduating senior applicants must submit proof of acceptance to a 2-year, 4-year college or university or career and technical education program.
  • College applicants must submit a Fall 2026 semester schedule (full time status as defined by the attending college/university), and a current transcript indicating a minimum 3.0 GPA.
