Dear Scholarship Applicant: The women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Theta Chi Omega Chapter are pleased to offer scholarships to high school students residing in the following school districts: Grand Rapids Public Schools, Forest Hills, Kentwood, East Grand Rapids, Grandville, and Wyoming who demonstrate academic excellence and perform community service projects in our area. - Graduating Seniors:
- High School Students 9-12: Tuition support up to $250 for summer academic, music, technology, arts, travel programs/camps
- 9 - 12th grade student in the Grand Rapids Public Schools, Forest Hills, Kentwood, East Grand Rapids, Grandville, and Wyoming school districts.
- 2.75 cumulative GPA
- Evidence of contribution(s) to the school/community
- Acceptance to a 2-year, 4-year college or university, or career and technical education program; acceptance to a tuition-based academic/arts/travel summer program
